If you have a Grade 9 / 10 / 11 certificate, when you do our three-month Foundational Learning Competence (FLP) you can unlock opportunities to study further.
When you finish this course, you will be qualified to enrol for our Health Promotional Office or any other NQF Level 3 Skills Programme.
What is Foundational Learning Competence?
Foundational learning skills refer to the skills that make learning possible.
Foundational Learning Competence (FLC) is a part qualification that consists of two learning areas: Communications and Mathematical Literacy.
It teaches the basic learning skills that make learning possible by outlining the minimum levels of competence required for optimal functioning in the world of work and for occupational learning at NQF Levels 2 to 4.
The FLC is a part qualification registered at NQF Level 2.
